Aishwarya Rai Reacted To Abhishek Bachchan’s Claims Of Them Fighting Every Day, ‘Really? Come On..’
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan talked candidly about Abhishek Bachchan’s previous claim that they fight every day in an old interview. On April 20, 2007, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan exchanged vows. Abhishek and Aishwarya fuelled rumours of their breakup when they showed up separately for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
When Abhishek Bachchan mentioned that he and Aishwarya Rai got into fights every day
In 2010, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were questioned about how often they fight in a Vogue India interview. Aishwarya replied, “Every day,” to this. But Abhishek added that their interactions are more akin to constructive disagreements than physical altercations. Afterwards, Abhishek disclosed that, following a fight, he was the first to apply makeup. In addition, he mentioned that he and Aishwarya have a rule that prohibits them from dozing off during arguments.

Aishwarya Rai acknowledged in an old interview that went viral in the midst of all of this that she and Abhishek Bachchan argue like any other couple. “What does that mean?” the host asked Aishwarya when she appeared on a talk show with Anupama Chopra following her wedding. “Abhishek said that the two of you feel like ‘a newly married old couple’. What does that mean?” In response, Aishwarya revealed:
“We have been so comfortable with each other. I think the ‘newly married’ aspect is that it’s wonderful what we share because it is based on such a friendship.”

Aishwarya further stated that although everyone around them is always wishing them well, they feel like they are “newly married forever,” which is fantastic. Aishwarya added that Abhishek did a very clever job of expressing this fact. Next, the host questioned Aishwarya, “He also said that you two fight every day, is that true?” The actress, displaying her sense of humour, said:
“That’s what I mean when I say that we have been together for like 10 years. We were normal from the beginning, even before marriage.”
Being a very private person, Aishwarya Rai stated that she and Abhishek have known each other for a very long time and as a result, they feel very comfortable with each other. As the presenter jokingly questioned Aishwarya, “Every day? On what?”, she said that an entire film unspools between them every day. In her words:
“We go through an entire movie throughout the day. It all happens. Really really quick. Time is really precious for us so we have our own dramas very quickly.”
Unsurprisingly, Aishwarya’s admissions shocked a lot of people because she was never one to wash her soiled sheets in public. Furthermore, Abhishek never denigrated his wife or treated her disrespectfully. Upon hearing the show host respond, “Every day is quite a record,” she said: “Really? Come on..”
