Anshula Kapoor Recalls Battling PCOS At The Age Of 14, “Would Wax Moustache, Have Painful Periods”
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s sister and founder of Fankind, Anshula Kapoor attracts a lot of attention on her social media. Previously, she stunned many with her weight loss journey. And now, she makes sure to keep her fans inspired by her life through various relatable posts on her Instagram handle.
Recently, Anshula, who is also an entrepreneur took to her IG handle to share a video where she talked about being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 14. She shared the struggles she went through as a teenager while battling the disorder. Anshula said that she was just in 10th class when she started waxing her moustache and her periods were very irregular and excruciatingly painful.
In the caption of the reel, Boney Kapoor’s daughter penned, “I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 14. Now, as an adult, I know how common it is. But at the time, it was never spoken about. I felt like I was the only one dealing with myriads of PCOS symptoms. Facial hair, insulin resistance, weight gain, heavy, painful periods, and so much more.”
