The Grub Fest – A super combo of food, music and good vibes!

The three day long food extravaganza, The Grub Fest ended on a musically high note at the sun-kissed outdoors of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Bringing together the most innovative and top notch food chains, the fourth edition of The Grub Fest presented an immense array of lip-smacking food for the visitors from over 100 reputed exhibitors.

Within two years, this unique food cum music fest has accumulated quite a massive fan-base which was quite evident with the never-ending queues of enthusiastic youth lined up to enter the fest on all the three days. Right from international flavours like Lebanese, Mexican, Italian and Japanese to everything Indian, the fest had a plethora to offer to the food enthusiasts. Stalls of exuberant patisseries were a delight for they displayed arresting designer cakes. Waffles fever was also very much evident amongst youngsters and we tried a chocolicious variety from Noida based Waffles and Crepes, it was a sure shot heart-winner.

Quirky food items like alcoholic-ice creams, frozen fruits, drinks in beakers and injections were a super hit among the enchanting crowd. Apart from old and renowned restaurants like Imperfecto, Social, Wow Momos this edition also saw participation from many newbies. For food lovers, it was a perfect way to spot the hidden new food chains worth drooling over. Uniquely designed and coloured food trucks too relished the large audience’s hunger strike!

The Grub fest was even more extravagant with engaging experience at The Grub Theatre, a section dedicated for chefs to perform demos of their favourite dishes and cooking techniques. As the name suggests, the place also screened some food related films and documentaries. The Grub Market, just like a street market which showcased gourmet products from upcoming brands.

Last but not the least, Grub Arena swooned the masses with performances by eminent artistes from entertainment industry. This edition of The Grub Fest witnessed heart-winning performances by popular singer Indeep Bakshi, DJ Tatva K, Bally Sagoo, DJ Mojo Jojo and many others. Underdogg bands like Zephyr, Panic, The Copy Cats also outshone the masses with their gripping talent.

Even though the fest burnt a hole in our pockets with price range being very high on almost every stall, the enchanting experience it provided was totally worth it. We can’t already wait for the next edition of this perfect brew of food, music and good vibes.
