Now Anurag has once broken his silence on his rift with Abhay and said that if he tells the truth then the actor will not be able to show his face. According to media reports, in a recent interview, when he was asked why he faces problems in maintaining his relationship. He was asked the question by giving the example of his relationships with actors like Abhay Deol and Pankaj Jha. To this, he replied that he is not bad at maintaining relationships. Talking about Abhay, he said that they had not met each other since the shooting of ‘Dev D’, as he did not even come for promotion. The director said, ‘If he wants to call me toxic, then it’s okay, that’s his side of the story’, adding that he cannot speak the truth because if it comes out, the actor will not be able to show his face.

Talking about the misunderstanding and problems between him and Pankaj Jha, the director said that he does not remember anything. Anurag said, “The last thing I remember is that he had joined the Osho Ashram and was into painting, not acting”. Pointing to the casting of Pankaj Tripathi in the role earlier given to Jha, he said, ‘I wanted to cast him for a role in ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, but he disappeared, he was busy and my budget was very low and I had to cast someone.’ He also said that maybe he is upset because Pankaj Tripathi became famous after playing that role.
