Television’s most watched daily soap, “Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2,” is in the limelight after one of the lead actors quit the show. Yes, you’ve read it absolutely right! Nakuul Mehta, who played the role of Ram Kapoor in the show, has bid adieu to the sitcom. After the news came out, fans of the actor and the show are disappointed with this progress, but the makers had already roped in a new actor to fill Nakul’s place. That actor is none other than Hiten Tejwani. The actor himself has confirmed the news and also talked about the pressure of joining the show midway.
Hiten Tejwani will play this role
Hiten Tejwani has been roped in to play the new Ram Kapoor opposite Disha Parmar in “Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2.” The actor himself confirmed the news and also revealed the kind of pressure he was feeling about joining the show midway. During a conversation, he said: “It is quite natural to feel pressure when you enter in the middle of a show. But I don’t take that kind of pressure in life. When I accept any role, I want to give it my all. My intention is just to do justice to that role. In this case also, I am hoping to give my best.”
Nakuul Mehta walks out of the show
In a conversation with a private media organisation, Nakuul Mehta said that he is ready to move on from “Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2,” but the journey has overall ‘enriching and satisfying.’ He said, “The show has received a lot of love from the audience. Although many people were skeptical when we started because we took an iconic show and recreated it. But to travel for this show and reach out to people like that, I think it’s been really special. I feel creatively fulfilled having been a part of this for so long. The story is going many places, and I feel like there’s nothing new that I can bring to it going forward. Altogether, I will miss playing Ram.”
The actor further added: “I feel I have paid my dues to the makers and the audience in the last few months. Moreover, you must know when to leave, and now is the time to leave. It’s tempting to stay on the show and continue it and find love, but what else is my question? I see myself challenged.”
