Zeenat Aman Finally Breaks Silence on Her Relationships

Zeenat Aman Instagram

Zeenat Aman on her Instagram account shared a monochromatic snapshot of herself and Dev Anand when they were younger. She also expressed how the revelation had wounded and embarrassed her. “When I began my film career, it was the Golden Trio era,” she wrote. Dev Saab, Dilip Kumar, and Raj Kapoor’s genius were generally acknowledged, and any actor worth their salt realized that these three titans had fashioned and were influencing Hindi cinema.”

Zeenat was overjoyed to be cast in Raj ji’s unconventional project and she had put her heart and soul into the movie. But she had no idea Dev Saab was misreading the situation at the same time. Years later, in 2007, Dev Saab’s memoir ‘Romancing with Life’ was released. In the autobiography, he confessed his love for Zeenat and said that Raj ji and Zeenat were more than just a director-actor pairing, which shattered her heart, added the veteran actress.

Zeenat Felt Humiliated When Her Relationship Rumors Spread Like Fire

“To be honest, I was livid,” Zeenat Aman continued. I was mortified, upset. I was concerned that Dev Saab, my much older mentor, a person I loved and revered platonically, would not only accept such a fabricated account. But would also publish it for all to read.

My phone rang nonstop for weeks as friends questioned about “what really happened” and shared parts from the book. But I never read it. And in my frustration, I threw the copy I was given away in the basement!, she said.
