Kiara Advani Faces Backlash For Fake Accent At Cannes 2024: ‘Unattractive And Dumb’
Kiara Advani made her red carpet debut on Saturday at the Cannes Film Festival and looked stunning. The actor was gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder gown with an eye-catching, large bow at the back made of pink and black ombré.
At the film festival, Kiara said, “It will be a decade in my career now. I think this comes at a very special moment as well. And I am truly so humbled to be here at Cannes for the first time and to be honoured by the Red Sea Film Foundation. It is such a humbling experience.”
Fans Reaction On Her Accent
However, fans on the internet criticised her accent. One of the fans wrote, “I was rooting for her; why did she do that? I like how Alia and Deepika never fake their accents on such occasions.” Another wrote, “Disappointed.”

On Friday night, Kiara Advani unveiled her first glimpse of the Cannes Film Festival. She uploaded a video of herself posing in a white Prabal Gurung outfit under the Cannes sun. She wrote in the caption, “Rendezvous at the Riviera 💙 ”
