The National Film Award winner Kriti Sanon has punctured recent reports that claim the actress has used Koffee with Karan to promote “some trading platforms” by openly speaking against them. The Mimi actress took to Instagram Stories and hotly refused these allegations. Sanon has also taken legal action against such false and fake news.

In the upcoming episode of the famous chat show, Koffee with Karan Season 8, Kriti Sanon is all set to appear alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

However, Sanon became the nucleus of a hot discussion for an altogether different reason. Many reports have come out recently, claiming that Sanon has used the KWK8 platform to her advantage by promoting some trading platforms.

Sanon was quick to respond and puncture these claims.

“There have been several articles reporting false news about me promoting some trading platforms on Koffee with Karan. These articles are completely fake and false and have been published with dishonest and mala fide intent. These articles are defamatory and are falsely associating me with the trading platforms,” penned the actress on Instagram Stories.

Sanon is clearly upset by such meaningless defamatory claims. She is disappointed by getting attached to the rumors the roots of which she never watered. She has released cautionary statements in Instagram Stories.

“I have never spoken regarding any trading platform on the show. I have taken legal action against such false articles and reports and issued legal notice. I request everyone to be cautious against such false, fake, and defamatory reports.”

Sanon went on further by attaching the screenshots of the articles and writing ‘Fake news alert’, highlighting it with a fake News sticker.

Kriti Sanon’s last appearance was Ganapath opposite Tiger Shroff. The movie was a disappointment. Ganapath is her second collaboration with Tiger Shroff, Heropanti being the first one.

Sanon will be next seen in a yet-to-be-titled movie opposite Shahid Kapoor, making it their first collaboration. Other than this, Sanon’s next is The Crew (Ektaa Kapoor directorial) beside Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.

Sanon is also diving into production. Her first movie as a producer is Do Patti and she will be spotted alongside Kajol.
