Manisha stated that “Baba” was her last major Tamil film, which unfortunately turned out to be a commercial failure. Despite high expectations from the film, it failed to perform well at the box office. According to Manisha, after the failure of “Baba,” she stopped receiving offers from the South Indian film industry.
