Everyone in the film world wanted to be associated with Salman Khan, but Punjabi actor and singer Gippy Grewal chose to publicly challenge his friendship with Bollywood’s Bhaijaan. He has finally spoken after the recent shootings at his Canadian residence. During his recent interview with News18, he denied his alleged friendship with Salman Khan.

Did he just break up his friendship with Salman?

The singer blamed the producer of Flim Maujaan Hi Maujaan for the interaction with Salman and claimed himself to be the victim of the truffle between Bishnoi and Salman. He stated in his interview that “’The producer, who backed the film ‘Maujaan Hi Maujaan’ invited Salman to the trailer launch. I met him there. Before that, I met him on the sets of Bigg Boss. I have no friendship with Salman Khan, and the anger over it is being taken out on me. For me, it is still shocking, and I am unable to process what has happened to me.” Revealing details about the incident, Gippy said, ‘This happened around 12:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. My house is in West Vancouver; the incident took place there. We cannot comprehend what has happened and why it has happened. When this incident happened, I was shocked because I had never faced any controversies before. I have no enmity with anyone, so I couldn’t even think who could have been behind the attack.”

Public threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi

This public statement is a reaction to a Facebook post. The alleged account of Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack. The post read, “’While you may regard Salman Khan as a brother, it is now time for your ‘brother’ to step in and save you. This message is for Salman Khan as well: do not harbour the illusion that Dawood or anyone else can save you. Your reaction to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We are well aware of the kind of person he was and the criminal connections he maintained.’”
