“Outsiders Are Ill-Treated In The Industry” Radhika Madan Opens Up Facing Discrimination In Bollywood

Shiddat fame Radhika Madan has been seen in many Bollywood films and has a unique identity for herself in the industry. Recently during an interview, Radhika shared her opinion about working in the Bollywood industry. She said that nepotism is still prevalent in Bollywood regarding getting films, those whose parents are already in the industry get more films. At the same time, people from outside the industry are thrown out on a single mistake and no second chance is given to them at any cost.

Let us tell you that Radhika Madan is known for films like Angrezi Medium, Safira, and Pataakha. The actress said, ‘Star kids get 2-3 more films to learn and people pat them on the back for improving in every film. Like every other industry, this happens here too’. However, she said that a ‘star kid’ benefits from working in 2-3 films, even if they have not performed well in their first film.

She further said, ‘People who are not already connected to the industry are treated differently and face discrimination’. Regarding being from outside the industry, Radhika Madan said that people like us who come from outside the industry are treated differently they are not given enough chances and if you don’t prove yourself once, then your life will be over in the industry. They will say ‘You cannot act, we gave you a chance, you are out’.

Radhika further said, ‘If it is my mistake, I will be thrown out of the industry. I will not get a chance to learn acting in two or three films’. Radhika said that artists like us should come into this field only after learning to act completely and polishing themselves well. People from outside are not given proper training even though they are not considered to be given the second option to prove themselves.
