Prior To The Wedding; Richa Chadha Responds To A Journalist Mistaking Ali Fazal For Ali Zafar
September will mark the start of the pre-wedding celebrations for Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.
Richa came across a journalist who mistaken Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar for Ali Fazal on Twitter before the rumoured D-Day. Here is Richa’s response. The journalist published a story on Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha’s alleged impending nuptials on Monday. His tweet further stated that @AliZafarsays and @RichaChadha would wed on October 6 in Delhi. The reception will take place in Mumbai on October 7,” Richa Chadha tweeted in response, adding the emoji for a bewildered face and the information that Ali Zafar is a Pakistani singer/actor who is already married.
The tweet, however, is no longer accessible. A user responded to it by writing, “Iss se acha GUDDU bahiya hi likh deta prashant to log fir bhi samajh jaate (Ali Fazal’s well-known Mirzapur character Guddu could have still been understood)” To those who did not have access to the tweet, another person replied, “He tagged the wrong account,” while others added laughing emojis to their comments.
The celebrations for Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s wedding will start on September 30 in Delhi and end on October 7 in Mumbai. Their private ceremony will take place in Mumbai, where only their closest family and friends will be present. The celebrations will include two gala receptions for Delhi and Mumbai, one on October 2 and one on October 7.
The couple fell in love after their first encounter on the set of Fukrey in 2012. A seven-year relationship between Richa and Ali ended in Ali’s proposal in 2019. The wedding was originally scheduled for 2020, but it was delayed because of the epidemic. A return-to-screen collaboration will take place between Richa and Ali for the third installment of the popular franchise, Fukrey 3. The project will be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. There is support for this new movie from Excel Entertainment, owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
