Rajkummar Rao Replaced Adnan Sami As Playback Singer From His Upcoming Film, Put An End To His Comeback
Singer Adnan Sami is in the news these days for his comeback to Bollywood after a good gap of nine years. After returning back to Bollywood, he lent his voice to a song in Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri’s upcoming film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
Now shocking news has come out about the presence of his song in the film. It is reported that Adnan Sami’s voice has been removed from the film. According to reports, Rajkummar had pressurized the makers of the film to replace him as the playback singer, citing personal concerns as his own lip-syncing would not match Adnan’s vocal expressions.

According to some of the media reports, Adnan Sami was approached by T-Series music label and director duo Sachin-Jigar to lend his voice to a romantic song after a gap of nine years. Looking at the tune of the song and his extremely close relationship with Bhushan Kumar, Adnan Sami also immediately agreed and gave a great performance.

However, Rajkummar Rao had already shot the scenes of the song and lip-synced to the previous version using a temporary voice. Now, he has expressed his disagreement with the film’s team about matching his expressions with Adnan Sami’s impressive vocals. Despite the team’s assurances, Rajkummar Rao reportedly pulled out, demanding a change in the playback singer. However, before Rajkummar’s disagreement, it had already been announced by the music duo and the label that Adnan Sami had sung the song and hence the media covered it with much enthusiasm.
