Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Daughter Raha Take Off To Italy for Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s Pre-wedding Celebrations
On Sunday night, Raha Kapoor, the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, boarded a flight from Mumbai to Italy. Social media platforms featured a number of images and videos of the family taking off from Mumbai’s Kalina Airport.
Alia, Ranbir, Raha jet off Italy
A paparazzo posted a photo of the family on Instagram. Raha settled into her father’s lap as they arrived at the airport. Stepping out of his vehicle, Ranbir Kapoor waved to the photographers. Then, as Raha started to head for the airport, Alia held her. Raha was later spotted in Ranbir’s arms.
Alia dressed for the trip in jeans and a grey sweatshirt. Ranbir was spotted wearing grey trousers and a white T-shirt. Raha Kapoor was spotted wearing white. While on a three-day cruise from Italy to France, the family of three will attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebration.
Alia Sunday reading with Raha
On Sunday, Alia took to Instagram to share a glimpse of Raha. In the picture, Alia was seen slouching over a couch, with Raha sitting on her lap. Raha’s face was not visible to the camera as the book cover hid her from the front. Alia was seen holding the book in front of Raha and reading together. In the caption, Alia wrote, “baby be kind.”
Alia: “..Raha takes liking to an art”
In an interview earlier this month for The Nod, Alia shared what she wants to do differently as a mother to raise Raha. She wants to make sure that Raha takes a liking to any art form be it any dance form or any musical instrument or sport.
“The only thing that I’d do differently is to make sure Raha takes a liking to an art. That she learns at least one instrument, one dance form, and one sport, because these three skills will be very helpful for her in the long run. I know there is no right or wrong to this, but you left it up to me to decide what I like. I want to start Raha young, so she takes a liking to it. My only regret is not knowing how to play an instrument,” she said.
