During the event, Ranbir Kapoor provided insights into the film, stating, “Animal is essentially an adult-rated version of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In a nutshell, it revolves around a man who goes to great extremes to safeguard his family. That’s the essence of the film.” Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, released in 2001, was a family drama directed by Karan Johar.
