She asked the entrepreneur why there are no exclusive brands for plus-sized women instead of having all sizes.
The pitcher replied to Namita. The pitcher said that the biggest problem in the plus-size industry is that plus-size people are treated like outcaste. People want them to feel included by not having a separate size chart or collection for them. They are a part of this entire range of collections.
Last year, Namita had a chat with author Chetan Bhagat. She said that till she was 21. she had low esteem. She was bullied for her weight as well as her facial hair. Namita revealed that no guy looked at her. She said that there was a boy in her class who used to call her ‘the girl with the moustache’ in Marathi. She was body shamed a lot as a teenager.
