Sunny Deol Exposes Bollywood As He Recalls Launching Brother Bobby, ‘It’s All Fake’
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is all set for the release of his upcoming film ‘Gadar 2’. During the promotional interviews for the movie, he has made several revelations.Recently the actor came up with another disclosure.
Sunny walked down the memory lane to recall how he struggled to launch his younger brother, Bobby Deol in the film industry. He slammed the fake camaraderie in Bollywood. The actor said that he approached several filmmakers while trying to introduce his brother into acting world, but no one joined hands with him.
Talking about the facade nature of a few in the acting industry, Sunny stated that people come, hug you and meet you like they love you so much but all of that is fake. He further told that so many people call him ‘paaji’ (Brother). But he asks them not to do so because they don’t understand the meaning of paaji’. There is a certain respect for elder brother. The actor mentioned that they may be great actors in life and not in front of the camera.
For the unversed, Bobby Deol made his film debut with Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Barsaat’ in 1995.

‘Gadar 2’ is the second instalment of 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. The first part was set during the Partition of India. It depicted the love story between a Pakistani girl Sakina (Ameesha Patel) and an Indian man (Tara Singh) who were willing to cross all borders for the sake of his love. The movie which also starred late actor, Amrish Puri became a blockbuster despite a clash with Aamir Khan’s ‘Lagaan’. It created history at the ticket windows.
Now, after 21 years, Anil Sharma is bringing the sequel of the hit film. The movie will see Sunny and Ameesha reprising their roles of Sakina and Tara Singh. It will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ in the theatres on August 11, 2023.
