The Divine Rishikesh: Homeland Of Yoga
By Prerna
Rishikesh had been on my bucket list for almost a year post covid and hence I decided to visit it after the situation eases and here’s what I experienced! The beautiful and spiritual city not just lets you explore the scenic beauty of nature but also gives you a life-changing and soothing experience. Whether you are for a week or a month you won’t get over the ambiance of the place.
During my visit, I met many other travelers and enjoyed the sunrise, sunset, yoga, music, adventure, and so much more with them. We camped at the riverside, nature gifted us with many beautiful sceners and the star gazing at night while listening to the chatter of flowing water was a soul-soothing experience for me.
The beautiful cafes portrayed the culture of Rishikesh. Also one can learn Yoga, Meditation, Chakra, Tantra, Singing, Music, Ayurveda, Cooking, in Rishikesh. If you are an adventure freak then you should try the fulfilling experience of Trekking, Bunjee Jumping, and White Water Rafting.
Apart from the activities, the religious vibe of the place adds so much positivity to its aura and reduces stress and anxiety from your mind. The Ganga evening aarti is just blissful to watch. Close your eyes, listen to the Aarti, and lose yourself in the purity of the atmosphere.
