Vidyut Jammwal Confirms Khuda Haafiz 2 Sharing A Picture During A Reading Session.
Recently Actor Vidyut Jammwal has started work on the sequel to his 2020 film Khuda Haafiz. The action star announced Khuda Haafiz 2 on Friday by sharing a picture from its script reading session on his social media handles.
Bollywood Actor Vidyut Jammal posted the picture along with the caption, “KHUDAHAFIZ CHAPTER- II #ArmyVeteran.” The picture also stars his co-star, Shivaleeka Oberoi, and director Faruk Kabir. Khuda Haafiz had a digital release on Disney Plus Hotstar last year. The romantic actioner revolved around Sameer Choudhary, Vidyut, and his mission to save his wife Nargis Shivaleeka, who gets trapped in the flesh trade upon her arrival in the Middle East.
The film, shot in Uzbekistan, also starred Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra, Shiv Pandit, Vipin Sharm, and Nawab Shah.
In one of his interviews, he talks about working with Faruk Kabir, Vidyut Jammwal had earlier said, “When the script of Khuda Haafiz came to me, I was impressed with the research he, Faruk had done and the effort he had put into it. I realized that I don’t have to do anything but surrender to his idea.”
Shivaleeka said, “When Faruk sir narrated the role of Nargis to me, I fell in love with her. I didn’t have to work on the character much because he was clear with the characteristics he wanted Nargis to have.” Vidyut Jammwal recently confirmed with the US management and production firm Wonder Street. The actor also initiated his production banner Action Hero Films early this year.
Vidyut Jammwal is an Indian film actor, martial artist, and stunt performer who especially works in Hindi-language action films. He is best known for his roles in action films like the Commando series, he is a trained martial artist who studied the art of kalarippayattu from the age of three.
Jammwal made his debut in Bollywood with the John Abraham starrer 2011 film Force, a remake of the Tamil-language film Kaakha Kaakha. He played a negative role in the film and won multiple best debut awards including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
With a negative character in Force, Jammwal bagged numerous negative roles in various action films later. Vidyut Jammwalwas declared among the top 6 martial artists around the world.
