Inside Pics: Diya aur bati Hum actor Anas Rashid gets married

Anas Rashid, also very known for portraying the role of ‘Sooraj’ of Diya aur Baati Hum, who had got engaged in April earlier this year, has finally tied the knot with Heena Iqbal on September 9.
The 38 year old actor married Heena Iqbal, who is 14 years younger to him. She is a corporate professional from Chandigarh.
The wedding celebrations and other functions, all took place in his hometown, Malerkotla (Punjab), at his residence. His house was beaming with lights and celebrations.
The wedding was on September 9, and the reception AKA Dawaat-e-walima was celebrated on September 10.
According to sources, the groom finds himself content and complete. And on the topic of arrange marriage, he said that he had complete faith on his parent’s choice. Also, he felt that he was ready to take on the responsibilities associated with an arranged marriage.
They haven’t decided on the location for their honeymoon yet. The decision lies with Henna with respect to the location as according to Anas, he believes that she has more knowledge about this and he trusts her choices as she knows his taste. They will narrow down the destination keeping both their preferences in mind.

The couple looked completely in love and radiant as Heena adorned a fuchsia pink and sea blue lehenga, where as Anas, wore a embroidered off white sherwani.
Anas Rashid is quite famous for depicting the role of ‘Sooraj’ in Diya aur Baati hum, which had a successful run of over 5 years on Star plus. The show was followed by its sequel, Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji, which first aired on 3rd April 2017.
