Our very own Divyanka Tripathi– Ishita from “Yeh hai mohabatein“, tied the wedding knot on 8th of July with one of her co-starsVivek Dahiya – Inspector Abhishek.
Divyanka was freshly out of a relationship and Vivek was looking to get in one. That’s exactly when the two met and fell in love. They got into their love bubble over a cup of coffee, when their co-stars insisted that they go for a casual date.
Pre- Wedding Shoot
From pre-wedding shoots to the whole traditional wedding, with all the mehandi and sangeet rituals – that’s how they got wed. The actress was looking sensational in a white and pink gown as Vivek goes down on his knees to give flowers to his lady love. Vivek looks dapper in a black suit. The couple looked very happy and excited about their D-day. Their pre- wedding shoot was gone by the very famous “ the wedding story”
Gaon Ki Gori for Haldi
Over the haldi ceremony, Divyanka chose the “ Gaao ki goori attire” – wearing a yellow lehenga choli. The family decided to organize the haldi with a “Gaao theme décor”. With all the “gaana bajana”, she was spotted enjoying her haldi with her aunts and friends.
The most loved and the most craziest traditional function, where it is not only the bride but every one around her decks up to wear Mehendi. The bride to be Divyanka wore a pink lehenga for her mehandibut what steals the show is the lovely pink flowers in her earrings. Unlike other brides, she opted to get Vivek’s face image tattooed with mehandi. A unique idea it was to show love.
Deep and Blue
The couple was spotted wrapped in their special moments over the dance performances.Divyanka wore a blue heavily embroidered lehenga with matching jewellery. And she again chose to open her hair. Fiancé Vivek was also seen with his ladylove at the function. Not only this, Divyanka surprised Vivek with her innovative mehandi tattoo designs.
The Wedding Day – 8 July
The wait was over, the day was here- D-DAY. The couple got married in Divyanka’s hometown Bhopal passing through an unusually wet monsoon and flooding of its seven lakes. The duo was all stunning and happy in their wedding attire. Divyanka wore a beautiful red lehenga for her varmala when she walked towards her groom. Whereas, Vivek wore a beige sherwani with a maroon stole and teamed up with a safa.He was seen dancing with the baraatis, all excited.
During the wedding rituals, the couple looked divine together. Divyanka changed into a green and gold lehenga for the pheras.
It seems as if the stock of excitement and the fling of celebrations hasn’t yet ended. With full power, the newlyweds threw a reception in Chandigarh with all the close family and friends.
On 14th of July, another reception party in Mumbai has been scheduled for all the industry friends who could not make it to Bhopal for the wedding.
