Season 16 of Kaun Banega Crorepati before coming to its end has finally got its first crorepati of the season. 22-year-old Chandra Prakash from Jammu and Kashmir has won a huge amount of Rs 1 crore on the quiz show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Sony Liv has shared a promo of KBC 16, in which Big B and the audience are seen celebrating Chandra’s victory in the show. The makers of Kaun Banega Crorepati shared the promo to show fans how Big B celebrated his victory considering his own victory.

Amitabh Bachchan asked the young contestant of this show a tricky geography question, which read, ‘The largest city of which country is not its capital, but a port, whose Arabic name is the abode of peace. In which the options were – A) Somalia, B) Oman, C) Tanzania, D) Brunei.’ In the promo shared by the channel producers, Chandra Prakash showed courage and confidence to answer the question of Rs 1 crore.

And by answering the correct answer he became the first crorepati in the history of KBC 16. During this, Amitabh Bachchan was overjoyed and could not control his emotions. He hugged Chandra and congratulated him on the victory. The promo shared by the makers of KBC 16 on social media reads, ‘India Challenger Week’s Play Along Contestant Chandra Prakash won 1 crore this season.’

22-year-old Chandra Prakash has undergone seven surgeries as he has had this disease since birth. Big B told the young boy in the episode, “Your dedication has brought you here and as they say, perseverance is sometimes the best virtue. You stuck to it and that’s why you are standing at this crucial juncture.” The episode, which shows Chandra Prakash’s big win, will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television on September 25 was broadcast on television.
