Odia rapper and engineer Abhinav Singh was found dead in his flat in Kadubeesanahalli, Bengaluru, on Sunday night. Initial reports suggest the 32-year-old artist died by suicide. The Marathahalli Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
According to sources, Singh’s family suspects that a dispute with his wife led to the tragic incident. Allegedly, he consumed poison after facing distress over what his family claims were false allegations against him. Following the post-mortem examination, his remains were sent to Odisha for the final rites.
The Bengaluru police have handed over Singh’s body to his family, who have now filed a formal complaint with the Lalbagh police. His father, Bijay Nanda Singh, has named 8 to 10 individuals in the complaint, demanding a thorough investigation. The family has also accused Singh’s wife and others of subjecting him to mental harassment.
While the official cause of Singh’s death remains unconfirmed, authorities are probing the events leading up to the incident. Investigators aim to uncover the factors that may have contributed to his distress and examine any external pressures he may have faced.
