Bigg Boss 16, hosted by Salman Khan, is ready to be premiered next month. Many well-known personalities have been roped in to be contestants on the show. The makers of Bigg Boss 16 held a press conference with its host Salman Khan on 27th September.

He spilled the beans about the show’s first contestant, singer Abdu Rozik. Imlie star Sumbul Touqueer is another contestant gearing up to enter the BB house. Sumbul was last seen in the famous daily soap Imlie. She acted opposite Fahmaan Khan.

The channel Colors recently shared a promo featuring a contestant, but to keep viewers on the edge of their seats, the contestant’s face was not revealed. Now, Sumbul’s former co-star Fahmaan has wished her luck and confirmed her participation in Bigg Boss 16. Fahmaan wrote, “”All the best jungli. Aag hai tu bas be you, and don’t let anyone change that.”

At the launch event of Bigg Boss 16 held in suburban Mumbai, host Salman Khan talked about the upcoming season and revealed that this time the game is different as Bigg Boss will also play with contestants.

Shalin Bhanot, Tina Dattaa, Gautam Vig, Sumbul Touqeer, Shiv Thakare, Shivin Narang, Manya Singh, Soundarya Sharma and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are the confirmed contestants.

Salman Khan recently opened up about the rumour of him charging 1000 crores. He said, “Well, I am often asked if I am doing the show or not, so I get irritated sometimes and tell these people that I don’t want to do the show. But these people are helpless as they feel if not me, then who else. So, they (the producer) have no choice.”
