After getting divorce from Reena Dutta, Aamir Khan got married to Kiran Rao. Both of them lived a happy married life and had a son, Azad. However, Aamir and Kiran parted ways in the year 2021 with mutual consent. Even though Kiran and Aamir are no longer married, they are working together. Recently, even when Aamir and Reena’s daughter Ira got married, Kiran Rao was present.

Recently, during an event, Aamir Khan was asked about working with Kiran Rao after divorce. On this, Aamir jokingly said, ‘Did any doctor say that if you get divorced, you immediately become enemies?’ Aamir Khan further said that he considers himself lucky that Kiran Rao came into his life and his life journey was very wonderful.

Aamir Khan said, ‘We have made many things personally and professionally and we will work together in future also. We are connected humanly and emotionally and always will be. We are like a family’. The actor further said that Kiran Rao and he enjoy working together. On Aamir Khan’s statement, Kiran Rao said that they enjoy working together and with each other. Responding to this, Aamir jokingly said that Kiran scolds him two-three times and it is funny.

During an interview, Kiran Rao had said that she is busy preparing for her upcoming project ‘Lapata Ladies’. Kiran Rao revealed that Aamir Khan had also auditioned for this film and expressed his desire to work. Kiran Rao was also present when Ira and Nupur’s marriage was registered in January. Ira got married with traditional customs in Udaipur and Kiran participated enthusiastically in every function. However, she could not attend the reception. Aamir had clarified the reason for this and said that Kiran was unwell, hence she could not come.
