Aarti, Meals And Everything Done Together: Alia Bhatt Shares Her Experience In Kapoor Family

Alia Bhatt, who wed Ranbir Kapoor in April of this year, is the newest member of the Kapoor clan. She and her Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-star Ranveer Singh made their first appearance as guests on Karan Johar’s programme Koffee With Karan 7. Alia said in the programme how she felt about the Kapoor family’s customs.

Alia discussed her journey from growing up in a nuclear household to marrying into Bollywood’s first family on the first episode of the show.

“I was raised by my mother (Soni Razdan), my sister (Shaheen Bhatt), and my father, she stated (Mahesh Bhatt). There it was. We didn’t talk to each other very much. Although we were a small family, we were very close. These huge gatherings and celebrations were absent from our lives. Everyone followed their own agenda. Enter the Kapoor family, where everything is accomplished as a unit. You all eat together, perform aarti together, and do everything else. It was adorable. I have had so many cultural and familial moments thanks to the Kapoor family,” said Alia.

Following a five-year relationship, Alia and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14. Only their closest family members and friends were present during their private wedding at Ranbir’s home in Mumbai, Vastu. The couple just revealed that they are expecting their first child, two months after their marriage.

Alia announced her pregnancy by writing on Instagram, “Our baby….. arriving soon.” She posted a photo of Ranbir standing by her side from her ultrasound appointment. A photo of a lion, lioness, and their youngster was also included. The next movie starring Alia and Ranbir will be Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which debuts on September 9.

Tuesday saw the release of a trailer for Koffee With Karan 7, which will include Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as his first visitors. The conversation subjects included the “myth that is suhag raat,” according to Alia Bhatt, competitors for Alia’s “greatest onscreen chemistry,” Ranveer’s contributions, which were the funniest of them all, “Genius of the year,” and more.

Gully Boy, a 2019 movie, stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as its co-stars. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which Karan Johar is directing, will also feature the actors.
