Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are starting a new chapter in their lives. Both are about to tie the knot. Wedding preparations are in full swing at Ranbir Kapoor’s residence Vastu Mein. Close family members and friends have arrived. The Kapoor family kept a lot of suspense regarding the wedding date, but on April 13, when Ranbir and Alia were congratulated on the beginning of their new journey with a video of Brahmastra, the news of the marriage was sealed. This video was shared by Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji, co-star Amitabh Bachchan and producer Karan Johar on social media and wished Ranbir-Alia.

Now Abhishek Bachchan, who is in the news for his film Dasvi, has congratulated both of them on marriage in their special way in an exclusive conversation with Jagran.com. When Abhishek was asked what he thinks about Ranbir and Alia’s marriage and pairing, the tenth actor said- “What will happen with our thinking. Be happy both. Have fun and be together. That’s all I will pray for. There has been a very close relationship between the Kapoor family and the Bachchan family, especially with Rishi Kapoor. Both Amitabh and Abhishek have done films with the late Rishi Kapoor. Abhishek was also seen with Rishi in the 2015 film All Is Well.

Ranbir-Alia’s wedding functions started on Wednesday, April 13. Mehndi and Haldi’s ceremony took place at Ranbir’s house at Vastu. After the pre-wedding functions in the evening, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni while confirming the date of marriage while talking to the paparazzi and told that the marriage will be completed on Thursday. Earlier there was a lot of confusion regarding the date and no family member confirmed it.
