Amid divorce rumours, Abhishek Bachchan praised his wife, Aishwarya Rai, for being a wonderful mother and expressed his desire to work with her again.

Abhishek Bachchan says he celebrates his birthday only for his daughter, Aaradhya

Abhishek Bachchan revealed that he would rather work all day in an interview with Times Now. He also talked about his birthday plans. The actor said, “My daughter Aaradhya is excited about her birthdays, but I am not.” He said he would like to continue working every year even though he enjoys celebrating his birthday with his family. According to him:

“It is for Aaradhya that the day becomes special. Otherwise, I like my birthdays to be work days. There is no better way to bring in one’s birthday than with work. I like to spend my birthday with my family if I can. But it wouldn’t be a happy birthday for me if I’m not working. Every year since I started my career in 1998 I’ve made sure that I’m shooting. The only year I missed shooting on my birthday was the year when I was in New York promoting Delhi 6. I hope to continue working on all my birthdays.”

During the interview, Abhishek mentioned Aaradhya as a wonderful child. The devoted husband said that Aishwarya, his wife, is an amazing mother and that Aaradhya is the center of their universe. Abhishek discussed how becoming a father has fundamentally altered his perspective on life.

“Aaradhya is the centre of our universe. She’s a wonderful child. All credit to Aishwarya for being a terrific mother. Fatherhood has completely changed my outlook on life. Bringing a child into the world changes all your priorities. I am sure every parent would agree.”

Abhishek was also asked if he had any regrets in life, and he responded that he has always worked from the heart. On the other hand, he also mentioned that he is excited to collaborate with his wife, Aishwarya, once more because they are receiving a lot of fan correspondence. He said:

“I don’t regret doing any of the films I’ve done. I’ve always worked from my heart. That works for me. Very soon, I hope. I really enjoy working with her. We get a lot of fan mail asking us to be together again on screen. We’d be more than glad to get together.”
