After spending time together on the sets of Umrao Jaan, Guru, and Dhoom 2, the two began to develop feelings for each other. Aishwarya accepted a proposal from the dashing Abhishek during the Guru premiere. The dedicated pair tied the knot and started their eternal journey on April 20, 2007.
