Born on 29 August 1968 in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, Bikramjeet’s father, Dwarka Nath Kanwarpal, was a lieutenant colonel in the Indian Army. Belonging to a military family, Bikramjeet followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the army.

Bikramjeet received a commission in the Indian Army in 1989, and after showing his bravery and courage, he retired from the post of Major in 2002. He served in the Army for about 13 years, but after retirement, instead of living a comfortable life, he decided to fulfill his childhood dream. In the year 2003, he made his Bollywood debut with his first film ‘Paap’, and from here, a new chapter of his life started. Bikramjit played supporting roles in ‘Page 3’, ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’, ‘Aarakshan’, ‘Murder 2’, ‘2 States’, ‘The Ghazi Attack’, ‘Om Shanti Om’, and ‘Don’.
