Famous actress and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan on Monday again objected to the addition of her husband Amitabh Bachchan’s name to her name in Parliament. Although Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar tried to convince her, Jaya continued to express her displeasure. In fact, during the Question Hour in Rajya Sabha on Monday, Chairman Dhankhar said, ‘Supplementary Number 4, Mrs. Jaya Amitabh Bachchan…’ After this, Jaya Bachchan got up from her seat and asked the Chairman – “Sir, do you know the meaning of Amitabh?” To this, Chairman Dhankhar said, “Hon’ble members, there is a process of change in the name that appears in the election certificate and which is submitted here. I myself took advantage of this process in 1989. We have told every member about that change process.”

Madam, the whole country is proud of Amitabh Bachchan.” After this, Jaya Bachchan again got up from her seat and pointing towards Manohar Lal Khattar said, ”Put his wife’s name in front of his name. Sir, I am not against this, but this is wrong.” After this, the Chairman said, ”Many times I have introduced myself as Dr. Sudesh Pati. …I have always respected your feelings.” To this Jaya said, ”Sorry Sir, I did not know.”
