Actress Pooja Bhatt Joined Bharat Jodo Yatra, Photos Went Viral; These Stars Also Joined Before!

Actor Pooja Bhatt briefly joins Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Hyderabad Wednesday, the 56th day of the yatra which is now crossing Telangana. The party tweeted photos and videos of Pooja Bhat joining Yatra, writing, “A new story is being written every day… The number of loved ones in this country is growing day by day.”

The video shows Pooja Bhat shaking hands with Rahul Gandhi and joining the Bharat Jodo Yatra from the front. The two were even seen chatting a few words.

Pooja Bhatt has become one of the biggest names in Bollywood supporting the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Previously Swara Basker has praised Rahul Gandhi and this Yatra. Swara wrote in her tweet, “Despite electoral defeats, trolling, personal attacks and constant critique. Rahul Gandhi never succumbed to communal rhetoric nor politics. His efforts in Bharat Jodo are commendable”.

In Telangana, Bharat Jodo Yatra saw star power when former Indian cricket captain and one of the presidents of PCC Telangana, Muhammad Azharuddin, joined the rally. Southern actor Poonam Kaur also joined Bharat Jodo Yatra to follow Rahul Gandhi.

On Tuesday, Radhika vemula, the mother of Hyderabad University student Dalit Rohit vemula, committed suicide in 2016 after being harassed Joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra. “I am in solidarity with Bharat Jodo Yatra and along with Rahul Gandhi to save the Constitution from RSS BJP attacks and ask Congress for justice for Rohit Vemula, passing Rohit law, increasing representation of Dalits, oppressed parts of higher justice, education for all.

After meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Radhika Vemula tweeted, “Rohit Vemula has been and will continue to be a symbol of my struggle against social discrimination and injustice,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
