Actress Raveena Tandon Receives Clean Chit From Mumbai Police In Road Rage Case

A popular video from Bandra, Mumbai, went viral earlier this week and swept the internet. The Bollywood actress and her driver were shown being mobbed in the video, which was filmed directly outside of Raveena Tandon‘s bungalow.

The video shows her pleading with someone not to hit her driver while attempting to protect him from a group of people who claim her car struck them. Both fans and trolls have expressed their opinions on the tragic incident and startling video quite a bit. However, a clean sheet has now been given to Raveena and her driver. (Read More: Raveena Tandon Opens Up On False Allegations of Misbehaving And Beating Women Under Alcohol’s Influence!!)

Raveena gets clean chit

The CCTV footage from June 1st shows that Raveena’s car did not cause any injuries to anyone. The actor’s driver was not driving recklessly, according to police confirmation. Actually, he was just reversing the car to park it outside the bungalow when a man and three women approached him to argue because they thought he might have hit them. And that is not all! Police have confirmed that neither Raveena nor her driver were drunk, despite the complainant’s false accusations that she was and attacked them. (Read More: Kangana Ranaut Came In Support of Raveena Tandon On Being Assaulted And Beaten Up By A Mob In Mumbai!!)

Eye Witness supports Raveena

In addition to the police and CCTV footage, an eyewitness who was present at the scene has also confirmed that Raveena was sober. The source revealed that the complainant asked the police, ‘Agar gaadi chhu jaati toh (what if the car had touched us)’. Moreover, when Raveena came out of her house to see what was happening, she asked her driver to go inside in order to save him. Rumours suggesting that he ran away from the site are false.
