One of the most beautiful actresses Dia Mirza has been working in the industry for more than 2 decades. In her career of over 20 years, she has worked in many films like ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’, ‘Deewanapan’, ‘Tumko Na Bhool Payenge’, and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’. Recently, her film ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ has been re-released in theaters in which she was seen opposite R Madhavan.

During a conversation with one of the media persons, the actress recalled that in the 2000s, actresses had to look a particular way and they used to hide their relationships and partners to get work. Actress Dia Mirza said in a conversation with one of the media houses that when things were not going well for her in the early days in Bollywood, she was filled with fear.

She said, ‘I was sad. I was scared. I was scared because the media told us that if you are a woman, you have a shelf life. In the early 2000s, every actress who came to the industry was told that you should have a certain weight. You have to look a certain way. You should stay single.’ While talking about the industry Dia further said that many actresses used to hide their relationships for fear of not getting work. The actress said that thankfully things have changed and told how top Bollywood actresses are married and have successful careers as well as thriving families.

Dia said, ‘They are living for themselves, not living in fear.’ The actress also said that actresses have now realized that acting is their work, not their entire identity. She said, ‘It is one of the things we do in life. It is not everything. Yes, we are passionate about it. But it cannot control our existence.’ Now Dia Mirza will be seen along with Vijay Varma in ‘IC 814’.
