Singer and television show host Aditya Narayan stirred controversy on social media after a video surfaced showing him discarding a person’s phone during his performance at Rungta R2 College in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The concerned event manager revealed that the individual involved was not a student and asserted that Narayan reacted strongly after someone allegedly dragged his feet.
Event manager Aditya Narayan speaks up
The event manager asserted, “The individual wasn’t even a college student; he must have been someone from outside. He persistently dragged Aditya’s feet, which was very irritating. The singer lost his cool only after the person repeatedly banged his phone on Aditya’s feet. This individual took almost 200 selfies with Aditya before the incident. Despite this, the concert proceeded smoothly for almost two hours after the altercation. If the person was in the right, he would have come forward.”
Furthermore, the event manager mentioned Darshan Rawal’s decision to cease performing at college events due to similar incidents occurring in various cities. He highlighted the lack of awareness about the truth behind such incidents, emphasizing that people often only see one side of the story. Concerned about the potential consequences, he questioned what would have happened if Aditya had fallen due to the continuous hitting and dragging by the individual.
Regarding the college’s history with concerts, the manager expressed pride, stating, “I have been associated with the college for many years, and they have never had a successful concert like this before. They have acknowledged this fact.”
