Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, recently made his Bollywood debut with the film Tadap. After this, Ahan will soon be seen in his next projects with Sajid Nadiadwala. Ahan talks openly in an exclusive interview with Jagran.com about his career in the film industry, nepotism and the dominance of stars in Bollywood.
On the question of nepotism in the Bollywood industry, Ahan Shetty says, “Now I am used to this question. It is true that starting can be easy for star kids, but being a star kid does not get you the destination. Audience you have to show the skill to bring it down in the heart of the people. If you don’t have the skill, then you don’t matter to the audience no matter who you are.
On the question of his favorite actor in the film industry, Ahan Shetty says that “I am a Jabra fan of Salman and I have a passion for him since childhood.” Sharing memories related to his childhood, Ahan says, “You will be surprised, I used to watch Salman Khan’s films, not my father Suniel Shetty in childhood. I met him for the first time at the airport. At that time I was very young. And I still remember that fan moment of mine. There is no Salman Khan film that I have not seen.” Ahan continues the conversation by saying that “Salman Khan is very different from others. He is a superstar but stardom doesn’t dominate him at all. He helps a lot of people quietly without showing off and I love Salman Khan’s swag. My only wish is that sometime I have a swag like Salman Khan among the fans in the industry.”
