Ahan Shetty On His Equation With Star Kids:’Known Aryan Khan Since I Was A Kid, Got Inspired By Tiger Shroff’
The son of veteran actor Suniel Shetty, Ahan Shetty, has stepped into the world of entertainment with his latest release Tadap. The actor comes from a filmy background but according to Ahan, that has not impacted him much.
In a recent interview, Junior Shetty has talked about his bond with other star kids. Ahan has revealed that he did not know many of the star kids of Bollywood and has befriended some of them only recently. However, he added that he has known Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan since childhood, and was inspired by Tiger Shroff.
When asked to name a few of his friends from the industry, Ahan Shetty told RJ Siddharth Kannan, “Even though dad is in the industry, we never really grew up in this environment. Also, we lived in South Bombay, I was in the American School of Bombay. Dad also has a lot of friends and gets immense respect from them. But we were never like a Bollywood family.”
He further added, “I think only recently, I have made a few friends, you know, Ranbir Kapoor, Shoojit Sircar, Bunty Ahluwalia, Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor all of them. But I have also known Aryan Khan since I was a kid. I was in the American School of Bombay, he was in the Ambani School. We used to meet on the field outside. He is a good footballer.”
Talking about Tiger Shroff, Ahan said, “I was in the same school as Tiger and I used to see him perform and he was always an inspiration. Now, getting into the industry, he has set the bar quite high in the industry in both action and dance. I really look up to him.”
Earlier, Ahan and Aryan’s pictures of bonding over a cricket match went viral on social media. The two star kids were later spotted partying together too.
Ahan’s Tadap is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film RX 100. It is written by Rajat Arora, directed by Milan Luthria, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie features Tara Sutaria opposite Ahan.
