According to the latest reports, Athiya is expected to marry KL Rahul in December. Ahan Shetty, Athiya Shetty’s brother, has dismissed speculations of her planned wedding to cricketer KL Rahul, stating that there would be no such ceremony in the near future.
Athiya and KL Rahul had been speculated to be dating for some time, and they officially confirmed their relationship last year during Ahan’s film Tadap’s premiere. They posed for a shot together on the red carpet of the special screening.
“We celebrate Eid every year at our nanu’s (grandfather’s) home,” Ahan said in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar. We refer to him fondly as Abbu. That is the location of our meal. There are no wedding arrangements in place at the moment. Such a ritual does not exist, and all of these allegations are baseless. How are we going to supply you with a date if there is no wedding?” he asks.
“Engagement nahi hui hai,” he continued. “When it comes to haal filhaal, our choices are limited. (There has been no engagement, and no such plan is imminent.) Additionally, there are no immediate plans for a wedding.”
Athiya was seen arriving at Mumbai International Airport earlier this year to meet KL Rahul, and the two were spotted exiting together.
KL Rahul previously said in an interview with Gaurav Kapoor that he and Athiya’s father, actor Suniel Shetty, “sometimes have some disagreements and confrontations. He always talks logically since he is aware of the game’s essence. You’re ‘not fit enough, you’re damaging yourself, and you’re not eating properly,” it’s alleged. He is a great believer in leading a healthy lifestyle and engaging in physical activity. When he is 60, he is as fit as anybody his age. ” If he can do it at the age of sixty, there is no reason why I cannot.”
Athiya was most lately seen in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s 2019 film Motichoor Chaknachoor. Suniel recently acted in the Telugu film Ghani.
