Akshay Kumar Got Angry On The Film ‘Bell Bottom’ Being Labelled As Anti-Pakistan, Said, “It Is Just A Film”

During a conversation at the Red Sea International Film Festival, Akshay was asked by a Pakistani man about the film ‘Bell Bottom’. He said, “I come from your neighbouring country Pakistan. I have a request to you, you have made wonderful films like ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Toilet’. There is also a dispute between India and Pakistan in your film. Pakistan was wrongly shown in ‘Bell Bottom’.” To this Akshay replied, “Sir, it’s just a film. Don’t be so serious about it. There are so many things in it and it’s just a film, sir.”
Talking about the director of the film ‘Bell Bottom’, it is Ranjit Tiwari. The film was based on the attempt to rescue passengers after the hijacking of an Indian Airlines jet. The film was released in theaters in 2021. The film depicts the 1980s. The actor was seen playing the role of an Indian agent in the film. For your information, let us tell you that the film was also banned in countries like Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The film starred Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.
