Akshay Kumar Visits Mahakal Temple In Ujjain With Family, Prays For Nation To Develop More!

OMG 2 and Famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, known as Khiladi Kumar, is celebrating his 56th birthday on 9th September. To mark this special day, he made a visit to the revered Mahakal Temple to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. Accompanying him on this spiritual journey were his son Aarav, niece Simar, and his sister Alka Hiranandani. The heartwarming moments captured during this visit have quickly become a sensation on social media.

Akshay Kumar visits Mahakal Temple with family

Akshay Kumar embarked on a road trip from Indore to Ujjain to reach the Mahakal Temple, arriving at 4:00 AM. The highlight of his visit was participating in the Bhasma Aarti, a sacred ritual involving the offering of ashes to Lord Mahakal. Both Akshay and his son Aarav were dressed traditionally, with Akshay in a dhoti sola and Aarav in a white kurta pyjama. Alongside them, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also joined in the divine experience, sitting together in the Nandi Hall to witness the entire ceremony.

Attend Bhasma Aarti

During the Bhasma Aarti, the atmosphere was filled with devotion as everyone immersed themselves in the worship of Lord Shiva. The priest, Pandit Ashish Guru, conducted the puja. Akshay Kumar expressed his wishes for the progress and well-being of the nation during this sacred occasion. He received blessings in the form of Baba’s ashes and Kaleva as Prasad. Additionally, due to the sanctum sanctorum being closed, he paid his respects at the temple’s doorstep and performed the puja aarti.

Prays for India to develop more

Speaking with the media, Akshay Kumar shared that he had prayed to Lord Mahakal for the prosperity of the country. He also touched upon the India-Pakistan cricket match and the upcoming World Cup, expressing his confidence in India’s victory.
