Hours after taking to social media to slam publications for circulating videos of her under-construction home, actor Alia Bhatt was seen enjoying a family outing at a special screening of her mother’s upcoming film, Songs Of Paradise. The actor was joined by her mother Soni Razdan, father Mahesh Bhatt, and sister Shaheen Bhatt.
Videos from the event show Alia in a cheerful mood, posing with her family and sister for the cameras. She looked chic in a grey coat paired with a white top and blue denim jeans, while Shaheen sported a bold red overshirt. The rare family appearance delighted social media users, who were happy to see the family come together to support Soni Razdan. “Soni is looking the prettiest… still at this age,” one user commented.
Alia’s Stance on Privacy
Earlier in the day, Alia posted a firm message on Instagram, calling out publications for recording and sharing videos of her private residence without her consent. She labelled the act a “clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue.”
The actor explained that filming someone’s personal space without permission is not “content” but a “violation” and should not be normalised. She urged her fans not to share such content and requested that the media remove the videos immediately. “Think about it: would you tolerate videos of the inside of your home being shared publicly, without you knowing? None of us would,” she wrote.
On the Work Front
On the professional front, Alia is set to star in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe movie, Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film is scheduled to release on December 25. She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, sharing the screen with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
