Alia Bhatt recently opened up about working alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, while balancing life with their two-year-old daughter, Raha. The couple is currently busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period romance, Love And War, which also features Vicky Kaushal.
This marks the first project they are working on together since their marriage and the birth of Raha. Alia shared how she and Ranbir managed to handle both the demands of shooting and parenting their little one at the same time.
Alia Bhatt Talks About Parenting Her Daughter While Staying Busy on Set
Alia and Ranbir’s shooting calendar is packed. The real-life couple has been filming several emotionally charged sequences, including late-night shoots at Mumbai’s Film City. Despite their hectic schedule, Alia opened up in an interview with Grazia about how they balance parenthood. Speaking about co-parenting their daughter, Raha, with Ranbir, Alia shared:
“It sounds cheesy, but there are no cons to this – only pros. We’ve shot most of the film at night, so we’re usually with her during the day. There are days he’s shooting, days I am. We’re not always on set together.”
In the interview, Alia shared that her daughter, Raha, often visits her on set and loves spending time there. She went on to say that Raha has a packed routine filled with classes, playdates, visits to her grandparents, and other activities. Alia admitted that raising a child truly takes a village. She explained: “She’s got a very busy life herself with classes, playdates, grandparents, and activities. It does take a village, in a sense, and I feel very grateful for all my loved ones and the privilege that I have with this support system.”
Alia Bhatt Sparks Second Pregnancy Speculation During Gym Outing
Earlier, Alia was seen outside a gym dressed in athleisure. With her hair tied up in a high bun, she appeared to be in a hurry. However, fans couldn’t help but notice her tummy and began speculating whether she might be expecting her second child. The speculation originally began during her Cannes 2025 appearance. Notably, the couple has not addressed these rumours.
Alia Expresses Desire for More Children
For those unaware, Alia revealed her future plans during an interview with IMDB’s Icons Only. She openly shared that she hopes to have more children. Alongside expanding her family, Alia expressed her desire to work on more films — not only as an actor but also as a producer. She also spoke about her love for travel and her dream of living a peaceful life surrounded by nature. She stated: “Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life.”
Alia Bhatt also appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast, where she hinted that the name of her second baby is already decided. She revealed that during her first pregnancy, she and Ranbir had already chosen names for both a boy and a girl. They even asked their families to suggest more names, which helped them be fully prepared.
Alia also mentioned that they’ve already picked out both a boy’s and a girl’s name that go well with their first daughter Raha’s name. On top of that, her mother-in-law has suggested another girl’s name, so the name for their second baby is already sorted.
