Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt is basking in the glory of her latest box office success, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. She is receiving praises for her role as well as looks in the film. Recently, the actress did an interesting Q&A session with her ‘Heart Of Stone’ co-stars, Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. A video from the same time is now doing rounds online.

Alia tells how much did it take to design her wedding saree

In the circulated clip, Alia is heard answering some googled queries about her personal life. During the chat, Gal asks the actress who designed her wedding dress. To this, Alia reveals that wedding attire was designed by the most celebrated Indian designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee and he did it in just two weeks.

As soon as the media reached masses, they began reacting to the actress’ revelation in a funny way. One user asked, “Why did it even take him two weeks? Versions of it were already worn by Sonam and Kangana.” Another said, “off the rack stuff chipka dia isko thoda tweaking karke. Ullu bana dala Alia ko do hate ka time leke. Kangana wore the same outfit picked from the racks for some family function of hers.” A third one stated, “My tailor also does the same. And why is it always do hafte?”

Let us tell you that Alia opted for an ivory-coloured organza saree for her big day. The outfit had tilla work all over it. The handwoven tissue veil enhanced the bridal look. Besides this, the actress donned Sabyasachi jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand-strung pearls.

For the unversed, Alia tied the knot with her long time boyfriend and actor, Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022. The duo hosted a low-key function for their closed ones in  Ranbir’s home, Vastu in Bandra. The couple is now doting parents to their daughter, Raha.

Workwise, Alia Bhatt appeared last in Karan Johar’s directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ with Ranveer Singh. She is gearing up for the release of her Hollywood debut ‘Heart of Stone’ on Aug 11, 2023.
