Featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role, it will be released in theatres later this year in the directorial of Sukumar, Pushpa part 1. After processing unlocking, lockdown restrictions were lifted in Telangana, many films are going back on the floors. While SS Rajamouli and team are back on the sets of magnum-opus RRR, Adivi Sesh-starrer Major is all set to resume its shoot in July.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is getting ready to be back on the sets in the second week of July. According to the source, the shooting of the Pushpa film will start on July 5 in Hyderabad. The schedule is expected to continue for 40 days. While Pushpa Part 1 will release in theatres this year, its second part is expected to hit the screens in 2023.
Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing Sukumar directorial Pushpa under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay Ghosh. The primary plot of the film is based on the red Sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing conducted by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively. The first part of the film is scheduled to release on 13 August 2021, and with the second part in 2022, in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
