Ameesha Patel Revealed She Has Adopted Several Children And Takes Full Responsibility For Their Education & Well-Being

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel, best known for her iconic role as Sakina in Gadar, recently opened up about her personal life and her deep love for children. At the age of 50, the actress is unmarried and revealed in a heartfelt interview with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia that she has quietly adopted several children and takes full responsibility for their education and well-being.

Let us tell you that Ameesha shared that her affection for children inspired her to help orphans. “I always thought about how beautiful it would be to give a home to those without one. So, I quietly adopted some children, and they don’t even know I’ve adopted them. I silently pay for their education, medical needs, and everything required to give them a better life,” she said. Ameesha explained that raising children is a big commitment, which is why she has chosen not to keep pets.

Ameesha further said that she has always had a special bond with kids. “I used to change diapers for my nephews, nieces, and cousins, feed them, put them to sleep, and often said I would give birth to an entire cricket team. My mother would laugh and tell me, ‘Have a child first, then we’ll see,’ because becoming a mother is a huge responsibility,” she recalled. Apart from her philanthropic efforts, Ameesha also revealed her passion for collecting luxury bags.

“Since I don’t have children, I have bags,” she said with a smile. Ameesha has been collecting designer handbags since the age of 16 and proudly owns 300–400 branded bags, a collection she showcased in Farah Khan’s vlog. “Even when I was five or six years old, my shoes and bags always matched. I always carried a small perfume bottle and a comb. I was very feminine and girly, though life made me stronger and more masculine over time,” she added.
