American Comedian Katt Williams Takes Jab At Kanye West, Roasts Kim Kardashian

American comedian Katt Williams, in a recent podcast interview, candidly expressed his thoughts about rapper-music producer Kanye West, addressing the rapper’s controversial behaviour. The 52-year-old artist argued that watching and holding someone accountable for their actions, especially someone with special needs, doesn’t align with treating them like everyone else. Williams went on to liken the 46-year-old rapper to an individual dealing with “mental illness.” Additionally, he criticised Kanye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and her short-term, much younger ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Katt Williams gives his opinion on Kanye West

During the Club Shay Shay podcast interview, Katt Williams, known for his role in Friday After Next, openly shared his unfiltered opinions when asked to give his perspective on the Praise God rapper, Kanye West, “from a distance.” Williams didn’t hold back, expressing his suspicion about labelling someone with a mental illness and then observing and judging their actions. He raised the ethical question of watching someone’s struggles when they are dealing with mental health issues.

Continuing his commentary, Katt Williams questioned the idea of holding someone with special needs to the same standards as everyone else. He emphasized the inconsistency in watching and holding accountable individuals dealing with special needs, suggesting that a more compassionate approach would involve grading them on a curve and acknowledging the challenges they face. Williams essentially challenged the notion of treating individuals with special needs in the same manner as those without, emphasizing the need for understanding and empathy.

Expanding on his analogy between Kanye and someone with “special needs,” Katt Williams delved into the societal role in shaping perceptions. He questioned the reactions to Kanye’s behaviour and emphasized that society played a part in placing him in a position where he believed he was a deity, referring to Kanye calling himself Yeezus. Williams also pointed out that society praised Kanye as a musical genius, highlighting the influence of societal expectations and responses on an individual’s self-perception and actions.

Katt Williams blasts Kim Kardashian

Katt Williams bluntly commented on Kanye West’s marriage to Kim Kardashian, suggesting he married her for certain qualities. Despite defense from Sharpe, Williams remained firm in his opinions, questioning Kim’s choices, and raising concerns about her relationship with Pete Davidson, highlighting his perspective on Kim’s relationships and their implications.
