Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan has made yet another expensive purchase and plans to build a mansion in Ayodhya. Bollywood’s most gifted actor is Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan expanded his real estate holdings when he purchased a site in Ayodhya’s The Sarayu, a seven-star mixed-use community. On January 22, 2024, the day PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to dedicate the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, the project will formally begin.
Amitabh Bachchan reportedly spends Rs. 14.5 crores on a site near Ayodhya
According to the Hindustan Times, The Sarayu is being built on 51 acres by Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL). The 10,000 square foot land where Amitabh Bachchan plans to build his house is worth Rs. 14.5 crores, according to a real estate industry source.

A four-hour trip from Ayodhya brings one to Allahabad (now Prayagraj), the birthplace of Amitabh Bachchan. Moreover, The Sarayu is located about 15 minutes away from the Ram temple and 30 minutes away from the Ayodhya International Airport. Speaking about his investment in the project, Amitabh remarked that Ayodhya holds a particular place in his heart. He went on to discuss what draws him to the city and expressed excitement about establishing a home in the world’s spiritual centre. According to a quote, Big B said:

For Rs. 2.07 crores, Amitabh Bachchan leased a music firm his opulent office space in Mumbai
Previously, MoneyControl reported that Amitabh Bachchan lent Warner Music India Limited his enormous office space in Oshiwara, Mumbai. The property is 10,000 square feet in total and consists of four large units. A security deposit of Rs. 1.03 crores was given to the actor in lieu of the annual rent of Rs. 2.07 crores for the large office. The rumour went on to say that a five-year lease had been inked.
For the uninitiated, The Sarayu is set to be completed in March 2028.
