Amrita Rao Reveals, “We Lost A Baby Via Surrogacy”

RJ Anmol and Amrita Rao are one of the cutest couples.  The couple recently became parents and entered a new stage of their lives. A couple of Things is their YouTube channel, and they frequently share glimpses into their love story with the globe. Now, the couple has released a new video in which they discuss their four-year pregnancy struggle and explain that they have attempted an array of ways to become parents, including surrogacy, IUI, IVF, homoeopathy, and Ayurveda.

The Vivaah actress opens the video by noting that the pair had been visiting their gynecologist’s clinic for three years and had been recommended to try IUI, but it did not work out for them. They were afterward advised to go with surrogacy. Anmol said, “It was a big decision for us and we were thinking about it.” Amrita added, “Frankly I was like haan Haan mujhe pregnant nahi banna padega na, theek hai. Of course, there are many factors that the baby will get a lot of qualities of that surrogate mother and not what the original mother can give to the baby.”

Anmol also remembers being informed by the doctor that the surrogate mother was pregnant and that they could feel the baby’s heartbeat. They received word a few days later that the baby had died. Recalling that phase, Anmol said, “It still breaks my heart.” Amrita said, “Aspiring parents, I don’t think you need to be so emotional. This is not in our hands.”

The couple then claimed that they were advised to try IVF, but that it did not work out for them as well.

The couple recalled being advised to see an ayurvedic doctor, and they began the process; however, Amrita claimed that the medicines were not agreeing with her body, causing her to break out in rashes on her skin. They took a vacation to Thailand’s Koh Samui in 2020 after trying for several years. They learned they were expecting a child in March 2020, and their son Veer was born on November 1st, 2020.
