The latest offering of the actress ‘Dream Girl 2’ alongside Ayushmann Khurrana is creating a lot of buzz. While some are pouring love for the film in the form of praises, some are finding the story a little disappointing as compared to its prequel. Ananya too has shared a review from a film critic on her social media. But what grabbed everyone’s attraction is how the actress seemingly cropped the negative feedback on her performance.

A renowned film critic Taran Adarsh took to social media platform, X (formerly Twitter) to write a detailed review of ‘Dream Girl 2’. Towards the end, he talked about what missed the bull’s eye. While doing so, he pointed out how Ananya failed to leave a mark with her romantic scenes with Ayushmann. He penned that the writing could’ve been sharper at places and the romantic portions between Ayushmann-Ananya lack fizz.

However, when Ananya dropped the screengrab of Taran’s feedback on her Instagram story, she ignored the part which indicated negative performance on her part. Netizens were quick to notice the same. Soon after, they began sharing their viewpoints on the actress seemingly omitting a part of Taran’s review. One user wrote, “Apni movie ki bad publicity kaun karega?” Another stated, “Offcourse bichari criticism thodi dikhayegi. And most likely this was her team posting reviews.” A third one joked, “I aspire to be this delusional.” “She might be a bad actor, but such things take a toll on one’s mental health,” read a comment.

Workwise, Ananya Panday has an interesting lineup of projects. She will come up next with ‘Kyo Gaye Hum Kahan’ and ‘Control’. Besides this, she also has her OTT debut show ‘Call Me Bae’ in the pipeline.
