In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Ananya Panday, who will soon be seen in Call Me Bae, stated that she wouldn’t mind being abandoned on an island with Ranveer Singh and that her motivation is obvious.
Ananya Panday is currently promoting her new Prime Video series Call Me Bae. During a recent quick fire round with Pinkvilla, the actress revealed a few fascinating details about her personal and professional life. When Ananya was questioned by our host, “If you were to be deserted on an Island, which male actor would you want to be with?” The diva was quick to name Ranveer Singh.
The actress added, “Ranveer because he’d entertain me with some dance or something. I don’t want to get bored.” Further in our conversation, when she was asked to rate herself as an actor, Ananya stated, “I can’t do this….Like 3… How can I rate myself as an actor.” After receiving criticism from her on-screen partners Niharika Dutt and Muskkaan Jaferi, Panday decided to give herself a 7 out of 10.
Ananya has never been cast opposite Ranveer, but she did make an appearance in the former’s opening song, Heartthrob in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. We honestly can’t wait to watch them together on screen in the near future.
Back to Panday’s Call Me Bae, Dharmatic Entertainment, which is supported by Karan Johar, is the producer of this comedy-drama series. Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair are the writers for this eight-episodic series, which is directed by Colin D’Cunha.
In addition, Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur are among the ensemble cast members of Call Me Bae. Starting on September 6, it will be accessible for streaming on Amazon Prime.
Ananya Panday has Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL in her possession.
